Connaxis is a full-service digital agency, offering a wide range of services from formulating a digital strategy to implementation and daily maintenance. In recent years we have developed successful digital solutions for leading customers around the world. What we do with your data?

At Connaxis, we take your privacy very seriously, so we have thought carefully about what information we need from you and how we can process it as carefully as possible. When we collect your data, we do this mainly to make our services possible, to improve or to comply with various legal obligations. Below, we will now briefly explain for each subject what information we collect from you, for which different purposes we can process your data, what principles we have for this and how long we will keep your data.

 

 

Our services

In order to deliver our services to you, it is necessary to process variations of your data. What these services are and what data is necessary for this depends on our service to you and can therefore only be described here in a general sense. Our basis for this processing is the preparation and implementation of our agreement with you.

 

 

Which data do we collect in general?

  • Name and address details and/or company details;
  • Contact information, including e-mail and telephone number;
  • Our agreement with you;
  • The specifications of the product (s) and/or order;
  • Correspondence, instructions and/or technical data necessary to enable implementation;
  • The products we supply to you, insofar as these contain personal data;
  • Other information necessary to carry out our services (depending on our cooperation with you).

 

How long do we keep this data?

  • After completion of your agreement with us, your data will be deleted, unless they are still necessary for other purposes.

 

Legal duties

As a company, we are obliged to keep a number of details of you in order to comply with legal obligations, the most important of which is the fiscal retention obligation. For example, it is imperative that we keep your details in our administration and that they can hand it over to the tax authorities on request for a number of years. Our basis for this is the statutory duty that we obey.

  • We store this information for 7 years.

 

Activities as (sub) processor

As part of our service to third parties, we may process your data for, for example, for marketing purposes. We design and send, for example, e-mail marketing campaigns in commission and the name of our clients. We do this with the utmost care under the responsibility of our clients, who in principle are responsible for the correct compliance with your rights. Of course, you can also contact us to check which data we process from you and make use of, for example, your right to forgetfulness. For more information please refer back to this page.

Quality purposes

As a result-oriented company, we are continuously working on improving our services. To this end, we process various data from you at every stage of our contract, regardless of whether you have had short contact or that you are a regular customer. The information we collect depends on the circumstances of our unique collaboration or contact. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest, namely to guarantee and improve the quality of our services.

How long do we keep this data?

  • We keep these data for as long as they are still important for training or quality purposes. How long these remain relevant depends on the specific circumstances and content of our collaboration and will have to be assessed on a case-by-case basis. If you wish, we can, of course, tell you which data we save for this and why.

 

Business to business contact

In order to maintain our own network and to facilitate contact with potential customers, suppliers and other relations, we use an address book containing the contact details of all contacts that are relevant to us. We use this contact information to contact you mostly different forms of business contact, including offering our services. These contact details have been provided voluntarily by you or collected from public (freely accessible to the public) sources and are obviously intended for (business) contact. Our basis for this is our legitimate interest in being able to contact (possible) relationships, including offering our services. If you prefer not to be contacted, you can object to this.   • Information about your professional activities (employer, specialties, experience, etc.);
  • Other personal notes or important features.

 

How long do we keep this data?

  • These data are retained for as long as they are still current and relevant for the purposes for which they were collected in the first place.

 

Administration

We also process your financial (business) data to enable us to implement our agreement with you. We do this, for example, to be able to invoice for services provided but also to pay invoices. Our basis for this is the implementation of our agreement with you and the fulfillment of statutory (storage) obligations.

  • We store this information for 7 years.

 

Applications

Of course, as a company we also hire people, and for that reason, it is necessary to process personal data. Some of these data, such as CV and personal circumstances, can be quite sensitive and are therefore handled with the utmost care. Our basis for this is your permission to process your application.

  • Name and address details;
  • Contact details including e-mail and telephone number;
  • Social media;
  • CV including work experience, skills, and expertise (s);
  • Personal circumstances;
  • Other data to assess your suitability or availability.

 

How long do we keep this data?

  • If you are not employed: 4 weeks after the end of the application procedure, or 1 year if you give permission to use it for possible future applications.
  • If you are employed: up to 2 years after the end of employment

 

Our cookie policy

As a visitor to our website, you will be faced with various cookies. These are small files that are placed on your PC to allow different functionalities of the website. Some cookies are placed by us and some by third parties. You can manage the placing of cookies through your browser settings and in the case of social media cookies, for example, also influence the use of your data to a certain extent at this service provider. Functional cookies

In order to enable the functioning of our website, we make technically necessary cookies. These cookies ensure that you do not have to do the same thing twice, for example.

 

Analytical cookies

To improve our website, our services, and your user experience, we use analytical cookies placed by Google. This partially processes your data anonymized, so that these can not be returned to you as a person. You can also manage these cookies via your browser settings.

 

Third party (tracking) cookies

In order to offer various (social) media functionalities, we also place (tracking) cookies from third parties that you can follow on different websites and platforms. We have no insight or influence on the use of your data by these third parties. Of course, we ask for your permission before we place these cookies and the functionalities concerned will remain disabled until permission is granted.

 

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have different rights that you can claim from us. You can read which rights you have below. If you wish to make use of one of your rights, you can make this known via the e-mail address specified for this purpose. We will then respond to your request within one month at the latest.

 

  • The right of inspection

You have the right to request from us what information we have about you and for which we process it. If you wish, we can also provide you with a copy of this information. Note that some data are excluded from this right.

 

  • The right to forgetfulness

If you wish, you can have all your data about yourself deleted from our database. We will therefore also inform any third parties with whom this information has been shared.

 

  • The right to supplement/rectification

If we have incomplete or incorrect information from you, please let us know and provide us with new or correct information. We will then adjust the data we have of you.

 

  • The right to restriction

If you prefer that we only process your data under certain conditions, you can submit a request for this. Use of this right is of course bound to practical limitations.

 

  • The right of objection

If you prefer that we do not process your data any longer on the grounds of, for example, our legitimate interest, you can lodge an objection with us. We will then no longer use your data.

 

  • The right to transferability

In the event that you wish to share the information we have about you with another service provider, please request a copy of this information. If so desired, we can also forward these directly to this third party, provided you have provided the data.

 

Share with third parties

As part of our service, we may share your information with third parties, even if they are outside the EU. For example, we have engaged various processors to make our services, administration and other activities possible. Your data can also be shared with supervisors or government bodies that are authorized to request this. Finally, your data within Connaxis can be shared with different locations, which are also located outside the EU.

 

To protect your data, an agreement has been concluded with every third-party processor that contains sufficient safeguards for your privacy. These processors, in so far as they are not in the EU located in countries that offer sufficient guarantees for your (privacy) rights. In the event that we share your data within Connaxis, you are assured that these will be treated in accordance with the strict applicable Connaxis corporate security policy so that your privacy is also sufficiently guaranteed in third countries. Where your data must be shared with regulators or government bodies, we will of course always act in accordance with the legal obligations that apply to us. In all other cases, we will always ask for your permission before we share your data with third parties in or outside of the EU.
